‘Spec’ is a very common word from within the motor trade. It is used to describe what features & options a car might have. It refers to the specification hence ‘spec’. This Focus Vignale is a 2.0 TD EcoBlue model which means you get an ultra efficient 2.0L 4-Cylinder Turbo Diesel engine. This gives you great performance and low running costs. This car produces just 113 g/Km C02 which equates to an Isle of Man road tax cost of just £71. The engine in this car is connected to a slick-shifting 8-Speed sports auto gearbox that features steering wheel mounted gear shift paddles.
To lift it above other Focus models the Vignale uses bright aluminium as the external trim. This can be found on the hexagonal front grill, window surrounds and side sills. The use of bright aluminium on this car definitely adds to the air of luxury.
As this Focus is about luxury it does not have low profile tyres or sports suspension. It offers a typical Focus dynamic driving experience but not the harshness you would associate with their ST & RS models.
