Mike Hewison Auto Engineers: who are they?

Mike has been in the motor trade for more years than he cares to remember! Having been Peugeot factory trained and qualifying at the highest level, Mike has been running an independent garage for more than 30 years, being based at Summerhill Quarry before relocating to our current site in Victoria Terrace in 2004.

Mike is well known on the Island rallying scene having competed for several years in events and being a past club champion of both Druidale and Manx Auto Sport.

In the workshop, alongside Mike we have Andy Quayle. Service receptionist is Vicki Hewison.

Our customers are long standing and we think of them more as friends than clients. You won’t see us advertising much as most of our business comes via word of mouth – any businessperson will tell you that’s the best possible recommendation especially on the Isle of Man!
